SERRANO PEDRO MARTINEZ. 01.11.2009. VALLADOLID Living in a democratic regime does not mean guaranteed the full and effective exercise of freedom of expression. In a democratic system, unfortunately, there is also censored, but it was managed in a more subtle form and overlapping in totalitarian regimes. Censorship, in a democratic system, usually carried out mainly as reporting facts and interested and silencing critical voices that may interfere, disturb or prejudice the economic or political interests of entities or persons.

But being condemned censorship in any form, which seems more dangerous and hateful self-censorship is concerned, amounts to something like that, now, some call "political correctness." Self-censorship is concerned the waiver of the complaint and criticism, to surrender abjectly to the orders and wishes of those who generously pay obedience and submission. is possible that, due to a large tangle of interests that affect us all and wrap, we are creating a materialistic society, uncritical and conformist, which no longer interested in the pursuit of truth. It is possible that, by act or omission, we are creating a world of people without dignity, given to voluntary servitude, it's probably one of the most despicable forms of slavery.
