BE DISSIDENT

(IV Days of Dissent)

Juan Pablo Vitali

be a dissident, is to bring a sword of light, through the labyrinths of the dark ages.

be a dissident, is felt at every step of loneliness of the race, aprentando our hearts.

be a dissident, is to opt for the highest, and also through the depths.

be a dissident, is carved scriptures on our skin.

be a dissident, is thrown on the bare steel of the sword.

be a dissident, is always go back to the slums.

be a dissident, is to have lost the sun of Atlantis, and recover it in the ice far South.

be a dissident, is seeing the faces of our dead bone, like a white mirror in the darkness daily.

be a dissident, is disagreeing with the gods, if these, we are adverse.

be a dissident, is to occupy the streets to dominate.

be a dissident, is the marble, muscle, stone, fire, mountains and roads.

be a dissident, is the last wolf of Europe in the cave, sleeping on the heights eagle, deer, roaring, deep in the woods.

be a dissident, is sleeping on daggers, and wake-lit eyes of children, of Dresden, Berlin, and Hiroshima.

be a dissident, is besieging the time of silence, with flags that burst coming in the wind.

be a dissident, is to be always the last to retreat, and the first move.

be a dissident, is to be the last man standing if necessary, with the sun as a witness, and the eternal flame of us by flag.

Source Author's response

Dear comrades:
Seeing Basti published in the MSR be a dissident text was read at the Fourth Meeting of dissent, I thought right and proper to thank this publication. This is what justifies me to keep writing because I write. The symbols are sometimes capricious and wander to find those designed to understand and share. Poetry is the revolution because the domain system removes some symbols for spiritually unite the scattered in pain. Poetry on and heal our hearts revolutionary sings our love and our struggle to make bearable the cruel ways of the dark ages.
Thanks, hugs Juan Pablo Vitali
